An absolutely outstanding stay from start to finish. I 1000% recommend this home. The property is perfect in every way - a great location, beautifully kept, and spotlessly clean, with a really comfortable feel throughout. (The location is spot on for a short walk into town)

What made the stay truly special was the host, who went above and beyond for me and genuinely made a difference to my experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay - I would return without hesitation. (Which I definitely will for sure!)

Steve was very quick to respond when booking and extremely helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and, although being so close to town, was really peaceful. It had the added attraction of free parking.

Great location, near centre but quiet area, very clean. Comfortable sofa and bed, very thoughtful extra touches and lovely welcome pack. Very good communication and information. Definitely recommended. Everything was perfect. Nicola, April.

What an amazing place and amazing host. Unbelievable comfy bed, private parking, and a clean bathroom and kitchen, plus a five-minute walk into town. The info Steve gave us before arrival was superb. I cannot fault either the property or the host in any way. Superb.

The surrounding area

Nestled in the heart of Shrewsbury, our own little private apartment shields you from the town’s vibrant charm. Enjoy a leisurely stroll into town over the river footbridge or walk up to The Boat House bar and restaurant, sit by the river and watch the oarsmen and rower's efforts whilst you relax in the sunshine.

Just moments away, the Quarry Park offers serene walks along the River Severn, with the iconic Dingle gardens bursting with colour. It also host many of the towns music concerts, food festivals and The Flower Show.

A very short short stroll from the flat takes you immediately to the lively Frankwell area, where you can indulge in delicious Asian fusion cuisine at Yak and Yeti, Indian at the Third Place or Turkish at Istanbul, or indeed catch a show at the renowned Theatre Severn.

Shrewsbury’s medieval streets, brimming with independent shops, cafes, and historic sites like Shrewsbury Castle, and Library are yours to explore. Whether you’re kayaking on the river, browsing our award winning Market, or soaking in the town’s rich history, this is the perfect base for your Shropshire adventure.

The culinary market town of Ludlow is also just 40 minutes away on the train, but we encourage you to save that for another trip, there is too much to do in Shrewsbury!

Have we mentioned the Armoury Pub on the side of the river, well worth a visit. Discover the warmth and beauty of Shrewsbury right from our doorstep!
